I want this in my room!

I would love to have these curtains and this deck & lamp in my room.  so.  cute.

and the gray, turquise, yellow combination works oh so well!

California Baby!!!

Yes, I DID take this picture...

      My family recently went to Carlsbad, California!  Carlsbad is near San Diego, and right on the coast.  Seriously, RIGHT ON the coast.  To get to the beach from our condo, we had to walk out the door, and across the street.  The beach was literally RIGHT there.  Cool, huh?  

     So, being a teenage girl, i obviously took tons of pics.  Here they are!!!

  

First, of course, there was the drive there...

and we had to wake up at 4:30 am...

...so my mom brought tin foil!!! :)

On Sunday...

I discovered the downside of humidity...

                    ...then again, is there an upside? 

But no worries, I made it work!

After church...

               We visited Old San Diego...

...and we saw some weird things!

We went to a museum about the Mormon Battalion...

 It was actually REALLY cool, there were pictures of actors in the Battalion...  they would walk from frame to frame, and would talk to each other...  it was cute, cool, educational, and creative... I give it a 10! (as if i have the authority to grade it)

Then they let us  pan for "gold"!

                           Mckay liked the cannon... :)

We had beach days!!!

Then there was Wednesday...

Mckay's Birthday!!!

LEGOLAND!!!

That night we went to dinner with some friends that live in San Diego...

                    ... and Dallen decided to eat a super hot pepper!!!

 not sure whats going on there.... /:

Mckay HATED the Mariachi, that sang Happy Birthday to him... haha : )

Thursday was another beach day...

            ...And we had the Quinn's with us!!!

We went shopping after, and then we Dallen and I had a sleepover at their house!

On Friday...

     We went to the temple to do baptisms...

...and got some lunch at a greek restaurant called daphne's.  It was delicious!

   Then we went to the beach...

The waves were HUMONGOUS!

Saturday was our last day...

 We went to the pier, and we toured the hotel Coronado, and played on Coronado beach.  It was beautiful!  we drove home for 12 hours, and dropped onto our beds when we got home.          The trip was definetly a score!
